Hello!

I just reinstalled my laptop... and there is a problem, it required a smart card to do a lot of thing, i want to turn it off. But i can't, i tried to search the solution on Google, they told me to go to gpedit.msc in search box which i don't have one, it says "Windows cannot find gpedit.msc", so i can't disable it.

Is there any other way i can turn the smart card off ??

May I know how you reinstall your laptop?

Did you connected to domain office environment? If yes you need to contact your IT administrator

We can try to delete the registry, please backup registry before perform this

go to regedit find the key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\system"

find scforceoption right click and delete
